Located in Valencia’s Avenida del Puerto, wafted by the Mediterranean breezes, Urban Youth Hostel, has arrived as a new concept of youth hostel using Pamesa Cerámica’s porcelain tiles.
The designer Nacho Moscardo was responsible for the project’s interior decoration, alongside architect Rafael Gil, and the Vic-F-Group which refurbished the building. The result is cosy accommodation that has captured the historical essence of the building, fusing it with materials of cutting-edge technology to create eclectic spaces that combine several complementary styles.
The wood effect of Pamesa’s Tessin series in roble colour was used for the floors of the hostel’s rooms. 15×90 format pieces lend a natural touch to interiors, forming the central element and giving continuity to the different areas.
Tessin brings a warm touch to the communal areas, where neutral black and white lend balance to the decor. Spaces where detail has been meticulously considered and where the colourful, youthful hallmark of this hostel is palpable.
The range of colours used in the rooms inspires elegance and serenity. Spaces that take on the natural features of Pamesa’s wood effect tiles, ensuring a restful atmosphere.
The floor tiles are the decorative mainstay of this hallway, providing a striking visually effect. This area of transit connects the hostel’s various spaces, in which Pamesa’s porcelain tiles offer an ideal solution, guaranteeing strength and durability.
The black and white contrast is a perfect match with the roble colour of the Tessin floor tiles. Fully integrated in this kitchen, the tiles provide the chromatic feel typical of wood, achieving a stunning and at the same time elegant effect.
Tessin adapts to the decorative style of this bathroom, bringing personality and distinction. Ceramic tiles with the charm of wood and a surface that highlights the passage of time.
Tessin’s technical characteristics make it the perfect choice for projects that are looking to combine design and functionality. A series that reproduces the colours of nature: cerezo, roble and ceniza.
