La Liga has acknowledged Villarreal CF’s excellence in management at an award ceremony at the headquarters of the Centro de Estudios Garrigues in Madrid where, alongside other Spanish clubs FC Barcelona, Real Madrid CF, Atlético de Madrid and Sevilla FC, the Submarine received this accolade.
At the event, where Villarreal was represented by its executive officer, Fernando Roig Negueroles, LaLiga highlighted “the hard work the Spanish clubs put into management tasks, which has culminated with their sporting success at an international level”. The association also noted that this is a “success” that helps to “spread the image of LaLiga worldwide”.
