Vila-real will host, for the third consecutive year, the National PAMESA LaLiga Promises Tournament, sponsored by Pamesa Cerámica. For its twenty-sixth edition, the prestigious youth football tournament will bring together the best U12s nationwide, from 16th to 18th June at the PAMESA Cerámica Training Ground.
The competition will kick off on Thursday 15th June with an opening ceremony that promises to be spectacular. The first matches at the PAMESA Cerámica Training Ground will be played at 10am on Friday, and the tournament will continue, morning and afternoon, until Sunday 18th June at 1:50pm when, after the final, the awards ceremony will take place. This year, the tournament will count on the participation of twenty LaLiga Santander First Division teams, in a competition that is already a renowned national showcase of grassroots football. It should also be mentioned that there will be free entry to all matches, so anyone that wishes to attend is welcome to come along and enjoy these top level games at the PAMESA Cerámica Training Ground facilities.
Villarreal CF U12s will defend their title
The Yellows U12s go into this year’s tournament as defending champions and aim to regain the title they won last year at the PAMESA Cerámica Training Ground. The Yellows played brilliantly, beating Atlético Madrid 1-3 to lift the trophy. Beyond the result though, the atmosphere was one of the great factors of the tournament. Not surprisingly, thousands of people came from all over Spain, filling the stands at the PAMESA Cerámica Training Ground, to witness one of the most prestigious youth football tournaments on the international scene.
